<

Thy deeds shimmering alongside
                      - a constant
Murmurings between and beneath
Tucked into pretty little hums
Sugar coated melodies ringing out
WobblingWanderingWaving
Small disconnects in the dissonance
Not above nor below
But I was left, belonged to the betweenness

Looking back over my shoulder
Wanting back those parts buried
In the quiet wreckage of selves
UnSalvageable but seen and felt
Remainders of reckonings
The reckless twinge of bitterness being
Laid out to be dissected
Timing- a convenience of others

Think of something nice
Wind screams at swaying trees
Their beauty caused by its ugliness
Enabled to differentiate differences between

What brought you to your knees

Your rumblings retaliated in response
Send out what’s left of my regards

Provocative prerogative proclivities proclaim
Hush hushed interpersonal pretendings
Profusely refusing backhanded kindness
Palpable compromises cast on bent knees

So this is what it must be like
Being loved by the likes of you
The once beautiful drained dry
Deception met by lush lust
To be ruined at the touch
A judgement to be lapsed
Is this living life meant for moving on?

A shift in perspective looms large
Old shadows lurk amongst the new
Searching amongst shredded recollections
Hurried hellos to blurry goodbyes
Wondering why the need arose
For you to dissuade, disassemble
And dress up my love for you
